Kofta, meaning meatball, is made from combining minced chicken with a variety of spices like garlic, cilantro, red chili powder and turmeric, simmered in a traditional Indian curry. It was first prepared for the early British settlers who were not accustomed to spicy Indian food, and is still a favourite and staple on the dinner table in the community.

This traditional British dessert consisting of a moist sponge cake covered in toffee sauce and vanilla ice-cream, is uniquely topped with desiccated coconut for a fusion touch.
